GIS Data Analysis for Market Research
Survey research tells you what people say. Spatial analysis tells you what is actually there. The two answer different halves of the same question.
GIS Analysis · Data Collection · Technical Services
We are a technical services outsourcing studio for researchers, merchants and technology companies — delivering professional, reliable GIS analysis and data collection on a project basis.
Working with research teams, merchants and technology companies across United States, Canada, United Kingdom, European Union and beyond. Every project starts with a scoped plan and a sample before any commitment.
Services
The five lines we run most often, from street-level and map data collection through pixel-level image analysis to GIS analysis and cartography. Six further services sit behind them.
Street-level imagery turned into measurable indicators for every segment of a network.
Learn MorePixel-level image analysis that turns imagery into counted, measured classes.
Learn MoreBusiness and point-of-interest records with categories, coordinates and attributes.
Learn MoreStructured business listings with coordinates, categories, ratings and opening hours.
Learn MoreSpatial analysis and geographic data processing, from overlays to network models.
Learn MoreHow we work
The same five steps on every project, whether it is a single-city extract or a multi-country programme.
Describe the decision, the geography and the fields that matter.
Sources, schema, coverage and acceptance criteria, agreed in writing.
Monitored pipelines with fetching, parsing and validation kept separate.
Completeness, duplicates, geometry and spatial sanity checks on every batch.
Data, documentation and a validation report in your formats.
Case studies
Worked examples showing the method end to end, from raw input through processing to the delivered result.
From raw points to a normalised density surface with statistically tested hotspots.
POI collection, competitor density and catchment scoring behind a neighbourhood recommendation.
A comparable POI census across five metros, and the standardisation that made it valid.
How we operate
We work with public information, open data and sources you are authorised to use. We decline work that requires defeating authentication or platform protections, and we tell you early rather than late.
Every delivery states its schema, its sources, its collection dates and its coverage. Where a field could not be collected, that is written down instead of arriving as a silent blank.
Projects are pipelines rather than one-off scripts, so a refresh is a re-run with a change log. The second dataset costs a fraction of the first.
Blog
Practical writing on the parts of this work that go wrong most often.
Survey research tells you what people say. Spatial analysis tells you what is actually there. The two answer different halves of the same question.
Most spatial pipelines work perfectly once. The design decisions that matter are the ones that keep them working on run twenty.
A map of competitors is a starting point. Overlap, saturation and rate of change are what make it a decision tool.
Pricing
Every project is quoted on what it actually involves: data volume, complexity, refresh frequency, delivery format and processing requirements. Tell us what you need and you get a fixed price against a written scope before any work begins.
Next step
